[Remote] Senior Product Designer, Core Experience

They are seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the design of the Core App experience, focusing on creating high-impact user experiences through data and behavioral insights.ResponsibilitiesLead the design vision for BetterSleep's core app experience in close partnership with Product and Engineering, and advocate for the user throughout the product development processDesign high-quality end-to-end user experiences that deliver a consistent, intuitive, and emotionally resonant experience across the customer journeyOwn and evolve key product surfaces including core navigation, feature discovery and engagement, clinical screening and referral flows that feel seamless within the consumer app experience, and other critical moments that drive activation, trial-to-paid conversion, and retentionCraft and direct UX copy and microcopy across the product experience, including feature titling, education, and navigation, ensuring alignment with BetterSleep's brand voiceDesign for localization (text expansion, RTL considerations, etc.) to address the 6+ languages supported within the appCollaborate with Engineers, Product Managers, and other Designers to solve user problems, navigate technical constraints, and scale product experiences effectivelyLeverage internal data, experimentation results, and your understanding of human behavior to identify opportunities for improving conversion, retention, and engagementDesign for personalization and adaptive experiences, helping shape user flows that respond to individual needs, sleep goals, behaviors, and future AI-driven product capabilitiesParticipate in user research and competitive analysis to inform product direction and ensure a best-in-class mobile experienceActively participate in agile processes and ceremoniesMake recommendations to management on process and tooling improvementsEnsure compliance with Android and Apple platform guidelines, stay current on new developments, and inform the team of relevant updatesBuild strong relationships with stakeholders and communicate complex ideas, goals, and design rationale clearly and effectivelyMentor and guide other designersSkillsYou have a relevant degree in design or equivalent professional experienceYou have at least 8 years of experience in Product Design for mobile appsYou are passionate about designing best-in-class mobile experiences and can balance business, product, and user needsYou have extreme attention to detail and a desire to understand all aspects of the productYou have a portfolio of UI and UX projects that demonstrates user research, ideation, launch, iteration, and measurable results.
