[Remote] Senior Principal Engineer - AI/ML

They are seeking a Senior Principal Engineer - AI/ML to define the architecture of AI systems, lead technology research, and guide the design team in AI/ML infrastructure. The role involves developing complex infrastructure solutions, maintaining technical relationships, and providing support to business development teams.ResponsibilitiesDefine Complex AI/ML infrastructure platform solutions and lead a multi-disciplined team to bring to implementation. Extensive and focused engagement through EVT, phasing out thereafter. Ensure overall design quality metrics are metDevelop and maintain close technical relationships with suppliers/partners on product roadmaps and technologiesLead RFQ technical responses and Celestica platform concept development efforts as appropriateProvide effective trade-off analysis and competitive guidance to engineering teams and customersDeliverables include System Requirements Documents (SRD), requirement compliance assessments, and Technical proposalsAct as a primary technical interface between Celestica and our customers, particularly in technical escalationProvide technical support to business development teams to assist in the winning of new businessParticipate in the selection and hiring of design team resources as requiredIdentify and Champion process improvement efforts as neededParticipate in standards committees and industry groups as assignedPrepare and present technical presentations to customers, industry groups, tradeshows, etcMaintain current on industry trends and future technology and market opportunitiesOther duties as assignedSkillsMinimum of 10 years Server and/or AI/ML accelerator hardware design experienceMinimum of 5 years of AI Infrastructure system design experienceExperience with Nvidia, AMD, and/or Intel GPU accelerators and support systemsSuccessful experience architecting and delivering server/storage/converged products to marketExcellent Customer presentation skills.
