[Remote] Senior Policy Analyst (REMOTE)

This remote position involves leading the review and analysis of policies and regulations related to the Indian Health Service and the Department of Health and Human Services to support enterprise electronic health record modernization initiatives.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate existing IHS and HHS policies and regulations to identify implications for enterprise EHR modernization effortsRecommend policy updates or changes to enhance alignment with modernization goals and improve healthcare deliveryProvide expert advice on policy and regulatory matters impacting healthcare operations within federal healthcare systems, including IHSCollaborate with stakeholders to develop strategic policy frameworks that address operational challenges in EHR modernizationFacilitate communication between federal agencies, tribal health organizations, and other stakeholders to ensure policy considerations reflect diverse healthcare needsRepresent the organization in discussions with federal and tribal leadership regarding EHR-related policy mattersConduct in-depth research on healthcare policies, trends, and best practices relevant to EHR modernizationPrepare comprehensive reports, policy briefs, and presentations to inform leadership decision-makingSkillsMaster's degree in healthcare administration, public health, health policy, or a related field is requiredMinimum of 10 years of healthcare leadership experience, preferably leading direct patient care organizationsProven experience in Indian Health Service operations and Health and Human Services policy implementationExtensive background in federal government health systems and familiarity with healthcare policy frameworksStrong expertise in healthcare operations, strategic planning, and regulatory complianceDemonstrated ability to analyze complex policies and develop actionable recommendationsExceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse cultural and organizational contextsAbility to obtain a Public TrustDirect experience with enterprise EHR implementation or modernization initiativesKnowledge of tribal healthcare systems and community needsBenefitsHealth, dental and vision insurance401K with company matchingFlexible spending accountsPaid holidaysThree weeks paid time offCompany OverviewKoniag was incorporated on June 23, 1972, to manage the land and financial assets on behalf of the corporation.
