[Remote] Senior Platform Engineer - Government Focus

The Senior Platform Engineer will enable the platform's deployment to Azure Government for FedRAMP certification while maintaining existing commercial cloud deployments, and will work on designing and implementing infrastructure solutions for government cloud environments.ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain Terraform modules that support both Azure commercial and Azure Government environmentsConfigure Argo CD applications and Argo Rollouts strategies for progressive delivery to government cloud environmentsAdapt GitOps PR-based approval workflows for government environment promotion and compliance requirementsRestructure CI/CD pipelines for government boundary deployment, including NuGet package mirroring strategiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, propose technical solutions, and contribute to architectural decisionsParticipate in code reviews to ensure high-quality and maintainable infrastructure codeMentor and provide technical guidance to other engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growthCreate reference implementations and documentation that enable other teams to deploy their services to government cloudSkillsBachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience5+ years of professional experience working as a platform engineer, DevOps engineer, or similar roleProduction experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code at scaleStrong experience with Argo CD, Argo Rollouts, and GitOps deployment patternsDeep understanding of Azure services and Azure Resource ManagerSolid understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestrationExperience with CI/CD pipeline design and Azure DevOpsFluency in at least one scripting language (Bash, PowerShell, Python)Excellent English communication skills (written and oral)Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-500)Experience with Azure Government or other government cloud environments (AWS GovCloud, etc.)Experience with Kustomize overlays for environment managementExperience working in compliance-regulated environments (FedRAMP, FISMA, SOC2, NIST 800-53)BenefitsHealthcare insurancePension/retirement matchingComprehensive life insuranceAn employee assistance programTime off plansPaid company holidaysCompany OverviewDelinea is a provider of privileged access management (PAM) solutions for seamless security It was founded in 2021, and is headquartered in Redwood City, California, USA, with a workforce of 1001-5000 employees.
