[Remote] Senior Payroll Accountant- Multi Entity

The Senior Payroll Accountant will play a critical role in the month-end closing process, managing journal entries, reconciliations, and collaborating with finance teams to enhance accounting processes.ResponsibilitiesAssist in month-end close processes and record journal entries as necessary. Review certain less complex journal entries prepared by Staff AccountantsPrepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies proactively as neededReview financial data for accuracy, correctness, and completenessProactively identify, recommend, and implement improvements to existing accounting processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and support the company's continuous international growth and future scalabilityAssist with the external audit by preparing supporting schedules and responding to auditor inquiries and information requestsUndertake special projects and analyses as required by management, contributing to strategic initiatives and operational improvements within the finance functionSkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, required4-6 years of experience in corporate and/or public accountingStrong knowledge of US GAAP accounting and financial reporting standardsAttention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work productAbility to manage priorities effectively and meet deadlines within a high-growth, fast-paced environmentStrong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), financial systems, and reporting toolsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and writtenWorking knowledge of NetSuiteExperience with international subsidiaries and the complexities that come with them including currency translation and foreign exchange, consolidation/elimination, and multi-books accountingCPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification, preferredBig 4 public accounting experienceCompany OverviewBoomi is a software firm that provides cloud integration solutions via a SaaS platform for providers to stay connected with their consumers.
