Schaefer is a paid media agency focused on food and beverage brands, seeking a Senior Paid Media Manager to oversee the strategy and management of paid media programs. This role involves hands-on campaign optimization, client collaboration, and leveraging AI tools to enhance performance and efficiency.ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end strategy, management, and performance for paid media campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and retail media networksBuild, launch, and optimize campaigns directly in-platform, from account structure and audience strategy through creative testing and budget pacingSet and hit performance targets (ROAS, CAC, efficiency, incrementality), and translate results into clear client-facing narrativesDevelop full-funnel media plans grounded in audience insight and aligned to each client's revenue goalsOwn the delivery and presentation of weekly, biweekly, and monthly performance reports based on each client's cadence, including presenting results and recommendations directly to the clientPartner with creative to brief, test, and iterate on ad creative that drives measurable performanceLead client communication on paid media, including recaps, recommendations, and strategic directionStay ahead of platform changes, measurement shifts, and emerging channels relevant to F&B brandsUse AI tools — Claude, GPT, and others — to work at a level that would otherwise require a larger team. You're actively building faster workflows, sharper briefs, and better analyses using AI today. Not waiting to learn itSkills5+ years of hands-on paid media experience (Meta, TikTok, Retail Media), with a track record of owning strategy and performance independentlyAgency experience, or a proven track record working across a high volume of clients or brands simultaneouslyProven performance experience with food & beverage or CPG brandsYou're actively using AI tools like Claude, Perplexity, GPT, and others to do more than would otherwise be possible. This isn't a bonus skill. Candidates who aren't already doing this won't be competitive for this roleDeep, current expertise managing campaigns on Meta and TikTokDirect, hands-on experience with at least one major retail media network, including but not limited to Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, or InstacartDemonstrated ability to manage yearly budgets of varying sizes, from $100,000 to multi-million-dollar accounts, and be accountable for measurable outcomesStrong analytical skills; comfortable in platform dashboards, GA4, and pulling a clear story out of the dataYou genuinely thrive managing a high volume of clients simultaneously.
