[Remote] Senior Network WAN Architect

They are seeking a Senior Network WAN Architect to lead the strategy, design, and evolution of the enterprise WAN and SD-WAN ecosystem, ensuring resilient and scalable connectivity for critical business operations. The role involves serving as a technical authority for WAN architecture and partnering with various teams to deliver transformative network solutions.ResponsibilitiesLead the strategy, design, and evolution of the enterprise WAN and SD-WAN ecosystem, delivering resilient, scalable connectivity that supports critical business operations across geographically distributed environmentsServe as the technical authority for WAN architecture, driving standards, governance, and modernization initiatives while shaping the future direction of the network platformPartner across infrastructure, security, and cloud teams to deliver transformative network solutions, solve complex technical challenges, and optimize performance, resiliency, and scalability at enterprise scaleSkillsHigh School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management10+ years of network engineering experience, with at least 5+ years in an architect-level WAN roleExpert-level experience with: Cisco Meraki SD-WAN, Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN (Viptela)Deep expertise in: Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, route redistribution, policy control), WAN design, segmentation, and traffic engineering, SD-WAN architecture and deployment at scale, Proven experience designing and supporting large, geographically distributed networks, Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on technical levelsCisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)Advanced or specialist certifications strongly preferred, such as: Cisco CCNP Enterprise (or equivalent legacy certifications), Cisco SD-WAN Specialist / Concentration exams, CCIE (Enterprise Infrastructure or equivalent) – highly preferredBenefitsEligible for an annual bonus incentivePaid time off (PTO)Various health insurance options & wellness plansRetirement benefits including employer match plansLong-term & short-term disabilityEmployee assistance programs (EAP)Parental leave & adoption assistanceTuition reimbursementWays to give back to your communityCompany OverviewAnswering God's call to bring health, healing and hope to all.
