The Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer will lead the evolution of network operations through AI-driven automation and data integrity, ensuring the accuracy of network configurations across various environments.ResponsibilitiesKeep physical assets (racks, cabling, devices) and logical configurations (IPAM, VLANs, routing, cloud overlays) in agreement, end to endMaintain authoritative data sources—such as Nautobot and warehouse inventory systems—as the single source of truthRun continuous data reconciliation and validation across network, warehouse, and DCIM systemsLead initiatives to eliminate configuration drift and inventory discrepanciesDocument physical rack layouts—U-positioning, port maps, and cabling connectivity—and keep them currentConduct physical audits to reconcile real-world hardware against management toolsDesign and build AI-driven automation frameworks for network provisioning, validation, and remediationDevelop closed-loop pipelines that detect and correct inconsistencies in real timeApply machine learning to anomaly detection, predictive capacity planning, and asset lifecycle optimizationBuild workflows that manage assets across their full lifecycle—procurement, deployment, and decommissioningKeep warehouse systems, asset-tracking tools, and network inventory platforms in syncIntegrate barcode, RFID, or IoT-based tracking where it adds valueDrive full traceability of network hardware across every environmentArchitect and maintain data pipelines for telemetry, inventory, and configuration datasetsEstablish data governance standards for network infrastructure dataBuild dashboards and analytics that give the team real-time visibility for decision-makingPartner with Network SREs, full-stack developers, and data teams to deliver AI-ready datasetsDefine and evolve our AI-driven Network Automation FrameworkAlign infrastructure data strategy with broader AI and digital transformation roadmapsEvaluate and implement tools across DCIM, IPAM, CMDB, and network observabilityMentor engineers and serve as a technical leader across the organizationSkills5+ years of experience in network infrastructure engineering (data center, enterprise, or cloud)5+ years of experience with Data center architectures and cabling standards5+ years experience with: Inventory/CMDB platforms (e.g., Nautobot, ServiceNow)5+ years experience with Routing & Switching Topology3+ years of experience managing physical and logical asset reconciliation3+ years of experience integrating warehouse/logistics systems with IT infrastructureBachelor's degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)Familiarity with AI/ML concepts applied to infrastructure (anomaly detection, predictive analytics)Experience with AIOps platforms or network analytics toolsKnowledge of DCIM tools and data center asset managementExposure to streaming telemetry (Kafka, Prometheus, InfluxDB)Understanding of digital twin concepts for infrastructure modelingCertifications: CCNP/CCIE, AWS/Azure, or relevant automation/AI certificationsBenefitsThis position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.This full‑time position is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the physical, emotional, and financial well‑being of colleagues and their families.The benefits for this position include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, retirement savings options, wellness programs, and other resources, based on eligibility.Company OverviewCVS Health is a health solutions company that provides an integrated healthcare services to its members.
