[Remote] Senior Network Engineer, Route & Switch

They are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to optimize the core routing and switching infrastructure, serve as a technical escalation point for network incidents, and drive continuous improvement of the network platform.ResponsibilitiesOwn and optimize the organization's core routing and switching infrastructure across campus and data center environments, ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of critical network servicesServe as the senior technical escalation point for complex network incidents, leading deep Layer 2 and Layer 3 troubleshooting efforts and restoring service across large-scale production environmentsDrive continuous improvement of the network platform by leading upgrades, migrations, and operational enhancements across Cisco, Extreme Fabric Connect, ACI, and NDFC technologies while mentoring fellow engineersSkillsHigh School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required8–10+ years of hands-on network engineering experienceProven experience supporting large-scale enterprise and data center environmentsExpert-level hands-on experience with: Cisco routing and switching (Catalyst, Nexus), Extreme VOSS / Fabric Connect, Cisco ACI, Cisco NDFCStrong expertise in: Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, route redistribution, policy control), Layer 2 technologies (VLANs, STP, VXLAN/EVPN fundamentals), Data center networking and fabric architectures (operational support)Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-layer network issues under pressureExperience in mission-critical, high-availability environmentsCisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)2 years of leadership or management experience preferredAdvanced certifications strongly preferred: CCIE (Enterprise Infrastructure or Data Center), Cisco ACI or Data Center specialist certifications, Extreme Networks certifications (VOSS/Fabric Connect)BenefitsPaid time off (PTO)Various health insurance options & wellness plansRetirement benefits including employer match plansLong-term & short-term disabilityEmployee assistance programs (EAP)Parental leave & adoption assistanceTuition reimbursementWays to give back to your communityCompany OverviewAnswering God's call to bring health, healing and hope to all.
