[Remote] Senior Network Engineer (Remote based in Indianapolis, IN or Dallas, TX)

They are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support clients through strategic planning, network architecture design, and implementation, while ensuring reliable network operations and security compliance.ResponsibilitiesPerform strategic planning in conjunction with our clients, including identification and analysis of projects to fulfill strategic and operational needsDeliver assigned project commitments to our clients, utilizing the entire client team if necessary and as agreed with the team leadsParticipate in the daily planning, tracking, scheduling, and execution of project tasksDesign and implement network architectures to ensure reliable operation for business objectives and processes and meet client objectivesConduct assessments of our clients’ current network states to identify network efficiency, security, or reliability improvements through metrics collection and trend analysisDesign and build out cloud networking solutions (Azure, AWS, Google)Install site network equipment such as firewalls, switches, routers, and wireless solutionsEvaluate emerging technologies and products and develop standard operating procedures for their implementation into the networkWork with members of the security team to ensure solutions implemented conform with industry standards such as NIST CSF, NIST 800/53, ISO 2700x, and SOC, HIPPA, or PCI DSSPrepare documentation of network standards, configurations, procedures, and cabling layoutsWrite, design, and deliver operational documentation, such as network and closets diagramsEnsure that all network designs and deployments are fully documented and supportable by the Service TeamMentor team members on technical issuesSkillsAt least 8+ years of experience in routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless covering datacenter and cloudLeadership experience and/or potential.
