[Remote] Senior MuleSoft Consultant

Omm IT Solutions is seeking a Senior MuleSoft Consultant to assist in modernizing enterprise resource planning and financial ecosystems. The consultant will leverage the MuleSoft ecosystem to build automated, API-led integration architecture connecting critical SaaS platforms.ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, and implementation of APIs using the MuleSoft Anypoint PlatformDevelop reusable MuleSoft components, connectors, RAML specifications, and comprehensive technical documentationArchitect and maintain integration flows connecting multiple SaaS platforms, managing the end-to-end API lifecycleConfigure API security policies, gateways, SLAs, and continuous monitoring through MuleSoft administrative tools to ensure secure data transmissionParticipate in integration testing, error handling design, root-cause defect analysis, and performance optimizationTrack integration defects and technical environment risks, categorizing issues by severity (Critical, High, Medium, Low) in a weekly progress logParticipate in mandatory weekly progress meetings with the designated project managerSkillsExtensive, hands-on expertise with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Anypoint Exchange, Runtime Manager)Expert-level proficiency in DataWeaveProven experience developing, deploying, and supporting REST APIs and specialized Mule applicationsStrong mastery of API-led connectivity, microservices architecture, and enterprise integration patterns (EIP)Documented experience integrating two or more SaaS systems within an enterprise environmentAdvanced proficiency with JSON, XML, RAML, OAuth2, TLS, and modern API security standardsProven ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into technical integration requirementsDirect experience designing or building API integrations with CGI Advantage 4.0, Workday, PaymentWorks, Tyler Munis, or Euna GrantsExperience designing integrations or middleware solutions for government or public sector environmentsFamiliarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) or DevOps CI/CD pipelinesActive MuleSoft Certified Developer (MCD – Level 1 or 2) or MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect certificationsCompany OverviewOmm IT Solutions (Omm) is a Columbia, Maryland based 8(a) certified Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), providing Information Technology (IT) consulting and contracting services on Federal, State government and commercial contracts .
