[Remote] Senior Mechanical Engineer (HVAC)

They are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer (HVAC) to manage a high volume of work orders, oversee licensed technicians, and ensure quality control in HVAC projects.ResponsibilitiesManage a high volume of HVAC work orders each day (20+), across multiple job sitesReview technician reports, photos, and videos to verify diagnoses and spot issues earlyScope jobs accurately—catching misdiagnoses, inflated bids, or missing componentsProvide clear, confident direction to licensed HVAC contractors—pushing back when neededOwn communication across the job: from the field to internal operations to project wrap-upUphold company quality standards and act as the final gatekeeper before approval and billingUse company internal platform and documentation tools to track job progress and ensure completionSkills3–5+ years of hands-on HVAC experience in residential service, repair, or diagnosticsStrong field troubleshooting and diagnostic ability across unit types (split systems, gas furnaces, heat pumps, R22/R410A systems, etc.)Experience reading and interpreting system tags, data plates, and field photos to validate technician findingsComfort identifying misdiagnoses, inflated bids, or unnecessary replacementsPrior experience working directly with technicians or reviewing real-time work ordersClear, confident verbal communication—you need to push back with precision, not aggressionWillingness to trade fieldwork for full-time remote employmentFast learning curve with new software—this role relies on a custom internal platform, not off-the-shelf toolsHighly organized; able to manage dozens of open work orders simultaneously across multiple locationsFluency in English (verbal and written); clear and concise communicatorBenefits$500 bonus at 90-days13th month payHMO coverage (including dependents)10 Days of PTO, not including holidays100% remote, work from homeAnnual continuing education budgetCompany OverviewAt Offshore Launch, we believe talented Filipino VAs deserve more.
