The role involves providing mentorship, managing project work plans, and ensuring quality in mechanical/plumbing design while coordinating with other disciplines and clients.ResponsibilitiesProvide mentorship and guidance to Mechanical engineers and designersDevelop and manage project work plansResponsible for the systems selections, basis of design and quality of the work productAttend project meetings and communicate effectively with project team membersRepresent the Mechanical discipline at client meetings and effectively communicate with clients as neededCoordination of the mechanical/plumbing design with other project disciplines and the Project ManagerConstruction phase support including submittal review and RFI responseMaintain and develop mechanical/plumbing standards in collaboration with senior engineering staffAssist the Mechanical Director with mechanical/plumbing work product quality controlAct as a senior mechanical engineering and design resource, providing assistance and guidance to project engineers and designers in both HVAC and plumbing designConfer openly and directly in a respectful and professional manner with other personnel to clarify or resolve problems and develop designSkillsMinimum of 8 years of focused mechanical/plumbing design experienceMechanical Engineering Professional licenseProficient in Revit and Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with Trane Trace load calculation softwareMust have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and the general publicCompany OverviewWe recruit the finest C Suite executives to lead your team and scale your business.
