[Remote] Senior Marketing Specialist

The Senior Marketing Specialist will manage projects and develop marketing materials to support business objectives while serving as a marketing partner to assigned business units.ResponsibilitiesServes as marketing partner for assigned business units and maintains regular meeting schedule with key business unit leadersDevelops marketing plan working with business unit leaders and marketing managementHandles the development of marketing deliverables to support marketing plan such as broadcast emails, brochures, one-pagers, advertising, contests and incentives, internal communications, web site content, social media postings, trade show exhibits, and audio/visual presentationsProofreads and edits copy prior to submission for final approvalFollows stated marketing and compliance review process to gather approvals for marketing deliverables to ensure they meet legal, regulatory and company branding requirementsMay assist in the design and execution of custom surveys to assess campaign effectivenessPerform routine administrative functions for department, such as list management, inbox management and maintenance, internal project management/project sharing, recurring external emailsSkillsEffective interpersonal and written communication skillsAbility to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customersEffective time management skillsAbility to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks simultaneouslyCapable of working independently as well as in a team environmentAbility to work in a self-directed fashionExperience with PCs in a Windows environmentDemonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office software productsAbility to analyze problems and develop solutionsAbility to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organizationBachelor's degree or equivalent education, training and work-related experienceFive years of experience in a marketing role driving sales results; including experience in life brokerage or financial services industriesProven project management experienceAbility to build relationships with teammates, internal and external clients and vendorsHands-on understanding of design capabilities, as well as online content presentation optionsProfessional experience with marketing and communications best practices, such as social media, content creation and management, marketing analytics, media relations, advertising, trade shows, and meeting and eventsStrong writing, editing and proofreading skills including knowledge of and adherence to AP Style Guidelines, brand guidelines and corporate voiceStrong understanding of the life insurance industry, including ability to explain basic industry termsProficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (primarily InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver)Advanced knowledge of marketing automation tools and customer relationship management systems and strategic campaign developmentAbility and willingness to host virtual events using selected company software, including Zoom and providing creative ideas on using the tools within Zoom to increase interaction and attendee engagementExperience with Marketo or comparable marketing automation systemMicrosoft Dynamics experience or experience with a comparable customer relationship management software systemKnowledge of Crump, carriers, business partners and affiliatesBenefitsA comprehensive benefits package that includes PTO, medical, dental, vision, retirement savings, disability insurance, and life insurance.Company OverviewCrump Life Insurance Services is a distributor and service provider of insurance and retirement products.
