[Remote] Senior Manager - UX Design

The Senior Manager - UX Design will collaborate with various teams to ensure high-quality designs and stakeholder satisfaction, while also developing user experience strategies and understanding customer journeys.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with other Design, Product, and Development managers to ensure alignment across projectsProactively work with reports to ensure high quality designs and stakeholder satisfactionCollaborate with other Design Managers and Director on user experience strategyWork with agile leadership to ensure Design team quality, efficiency and velocity meets team needsDevelop deep understanding of customer journeys, personas and segmentation within your portfolio of projectsTranslate complex cognitive challenges across multiple projects into elegant user experiences delivered across multiple channelsGain stakeholder support for designs by clearly communicating design vision and rationaleConceptualize, design and define breakthrough user experiences, drawing inspiration from research, user goals, and the world around youSkillsHas a strong portfolio of work that includes exceptionally crafted desktop, native app design and mobile best practicesHas a minimum of 5 years' experience in Desktop, native app design, including IxD and visual designHas proven experience in driving and delivering design from initial concepts to in-market experiencesHas 3 years of experience leading design collaboration sessions with a range of stakeholdersHas proven experience defining design direction, communicating rationale to a non-design audience, and successful advocacy for design decisionsIs fluent in FigmaAbility to mentor junior designersStrong portfolio of work including examples of mobile web, desktop and app experiencesStrong understanding of design system and component-based designStrong understanding of native mobile and responsive web platforms and designing UI solutions within themAbility to conceptualize, design, and deliver experiencesAbility to communicate user needs and demonstrate how proposed designs solve those to internal team and other stakeholdersAbility to collaborate with designers, strategists, managers, and technologistsAbility to collaborate with product owners, scrum masters and engineering teams within an agile processAbility to present to senior stakeholders and build support UX work initiatives (Ability to direct the work of others)Knowledge of user-centered design philosophy and processHands on experience with wire framing and prototyping toolsAttention to detail and passion for excellenceAbility to work within design systemsCandidates for this role demonstrate exceptional UX & UI design craft, Application and understanding of desktop & native platform best practices, creative problem-solving and curiosity, comfort navigating ambiguity, proactive collaboration, and good communication skillsThey should feel comfortable working independently and take initiative to plan their work against a defined goalThe person occupying this role will work together with a wide range of disciplines and stakeholdersThe person occupying this role will use a working knowledge of AI in the design thinking and design delivery processThey should feel comfortable applying data-driven design principles to guide product decisions and influence analytics strategyBenefitsThis position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.This full‑time position is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the physical, emotional, and financial well‑being of colleagues and their families.The benefits for this position include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, retirement savings options, wellness programs, and other resources, based on eligibility.Company OverviewCVS Health is a health solutions company that provides an integrated healthcare services to its members.
