[Remote] Senior Manager, R&D Accounting

They are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Manager, R&D Accounting to assist with clinical trials and R&D accrual processes, while collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting.ResponsibilitiesPrepare month-end clinical and R&D accrual analyses, including reviews of CRO reports, patient costs, site accruals, and clinical manufacturing accruals, while ensuring compliance with US GAAP and company policiesPrepare corresponding monthly journal entries and related supporting documentationPrepare monthly accounts reconciliations (clinical and related prepaids/accrued expenses)Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance, highlighting key trends and potential risksReview contracts and amendments to analyze/determine impact on clinical accrualsMaintain SOX controls for assigned areas of responsibilitySupport the internal and external reporting requirements to ensure timely and accurate financial reports for management, investors, and regulatory complianceWork cross functionally with Clinical Operations, Manufacturing, Research and FP&A and other various business ownersWork with external CROs and clinical /manufacturing vendors to ensure that accruals are accurately accounted forAssist with providing necessary documentation and explanations related to R&D accounting for the annual audit to our external auditorsPossess a continuous improvement mindset, identifying opportunities to enhance accounting processes and systemsProvide support as needs arise for special projects, system improvements, or ad-hoc requestsSkillsBachelor's degree in accounting5+ years Biotech experience, 2+ years of focus on clinical trial accrual accountingStrong working knowledge of US GAAP, SOX controls and financial close and reporting processProficiency in financial software and ERP systems; experience with NetSuite and Coupa is preferredHighly proficient in Microsoft office suiteExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the aptitude to collaborate effectively across various teamsHigh level of integrity, attention to detail, commitment to accuracy and ability to manage multiple prioritiesCertified Public Accountant license preferredExperience with NetSuite and Coupa is preferredBenefitsEquity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation packageA full range of medical, dental, vision, 401k, and other benefitsUnlimited paid time offParental leaveCompany OverviewImmunovant is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on enabling normal lives for patients with autoimmune diseases.
