[Remote] Senior Manager Project Finance

Piper Maddox is partnered with a leading utility-scale renewable energy developer and owner/operator seeking a Senior Manager, Project Finance to support the financing and capital deployment strategy across a growing portfolio of solar and energy storage projects. This role involves evaluating, structuring, and executing tax equity and debt financings while collaborating closely with various stakeholders in the renewable energy market.ResponsibilitiesSupport the structuring and execution of project financing transactions across utility-scale solar and energy storage assetsDevelop, review, and maintain financial models used to evaluate project economics, financing structures, and investment returnsPrepare due diligence materials, financing presentations, and transaction documentation for lenders and investorsEvaluate project opportunities and provide recommendations on financing strategy and capital deploymentCoordinate with lenders, tax equity investors, advisors, and internal stakeholders throughout active transactionsProvide technical oversight and mentorship to junior team members supporting transaction executionSkills7+ years of experience in project finance, tax equity, capital markets, investment banking, or related transaction-focused rolesProven experience within the U.S. utility-scale renewable energy industryStrong understanding of tax equity structures, including partnership flips, sale-leasebacks, and transferable tax creditsAdvanced financial modeling capabilities with the ability to review, refine, and oversee complex project finance modelsExperience supporting debt financing transactions and managing multiple workstreams simultaneouslyStrong communication skills, ownership mentality, and ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environmentCompany OverviewPiper Maddox provides recruitment services for the renewable energy sectors.
