[Remote] Senior Manager FInancial Reporting- Sustainability

The role involves leading ESG and sustainability reporting, overseeing carbon footprint calculations, and ensuring internal controls over sustainability data.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Lead the preparation of ESG and sustainability disclosures, including standalone ESG reports and disclosures within SEC filings (10-K, Proxy)
ā¢ Coordinate reporting aligned with frameworks such as SASB, GRI, TCFD, ISSB, and CDP
ā¢ Support responses to investor, lender, and rating agency ESG requests
ā¢ Oversee calculation and reporting of Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions
ā¢ Partner with internal teams to collect activity data (energy, fuel, travel, supply chain)
ā¢ Review methodologies, assumptions, and emission factors for accuracy and consistency
ā¢ Track emissions trends, reduction initiatives, and performance against targets
ā¢ Design and maintain internal controls over ESG and sustainability data, similar to financial reporting controls
ā¢ Support external assurance or audit of ESG metrics
ā¢ Document policies, procedures, and methodologies for sustainability data collection and reporting
ā¢ Ensure consistency between sustainability disclosures and financial statements
ā¢ Work with Legal and Compliance on regulatory developments and disclosure requirements
ā¢ Partner with Operations, HR, Procurement, and IT to gather and validate ESG data
ā¢ Coordinate with external consultants, auditors, and Big 4 ESG advisory teams
Skills
ā¢ 5+ years audit experience
ā¢ Accounting/Audit background
ā¢ ESG/Sustainability experience
ā¢ CPA
