They are seeking a Senior Finance & Strategy Manager to provide CFO-level financial partnership across various support functions, drive investment strategy, and lead a team of finance professionals.ResponsibilitiesOwn the financial health of multiple major functional areas, serving as the primary finance partner to 3+ C-level executives and their leadership teams on resource allocation, investment strategy, and long-term planningDrive the vision for how Finance partners with the business by identifying and implementing new analytical frameworks, efficiency opportunities, and operational improvementsLead and develop a team of finance professionals, setting clear performance expectations and building a culture of strategic thinking and continuous improvementPartner cross-functionally with People, Legal, Compliance, Policy, and Finance leadership to align on budgets, forecasts, headcount planning, and strategic prioritiesShape company-wide investment decisions by building financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases that inform executive decision-makingExecute regular financial reporting and variance analysis, translating complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership and the CFO's officeSkills8+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, or a combination of these roles (investment banking experience counts), with a significant portion spent in leadership roles at high-growth technology companiesAt least 2 years of direct people management experience, with a track record of coaching and developing finance professionalsDemonstrated success as a strategic partner to C-level executives, with specific examples of influencing company-level strategy, resource allocation, or investment decisionsProven ability to build, maintain, and present complex financial models that drive executive decision-making across multiple functional areasUtilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and qualityBenefitsTotal compensation may also include equity and bonus eligibility, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k))Company OverviewCoinbase is a crypto exchange and wallet platform that allows merchants and consumers to buy, sell, and store digital currencies.
