platforms.ResponsibilitiesLead enterprise architecture for finance and master data capabilities across QXO and acquired operating companies, including record-to-report, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash financial integration points, financial planning, controls, and enterprise master data domainsDefine and evolve the target finance and MDM architecture supporting QXO’s Oracle Fusion ERP platform and adjacent systems across finance, data, analytics, integrations, and acquired company landscapesSupport acquisition diligence by evaluating finance system landscapes, master data structures, reporting dependencies, and defining pragmatic integration strategies for newly acquired businessesDesign scalable architecture patterns that enable QXO to rapidly integrate acquisitions while progressing toward standardized enterprise finance and master data platformsDefine, document, and enforce architectural standards and patterns for finance platforms, master data flows, data governance, integrations, and reporting dependencies across the enterprisePartner with Finance, Accounting, Data & Analytics, Applications, Engineering, Security, and Integration teams to align architecture decisions, data ownership, sequencing, and execution plansTranslate finance, accounting, and enterprise data objectives into clear technical decisions and practical architecture recommendationsGuide platform and integration decisions across ERP, EPM, financial reporting, data lakehouse, MDM, customer, supplier, product, chart of accounts, and legal entity structuresIdentify architecture risks early and reduce operational disruption during acquisitions, ERP transitions, reporting changes, and master data harmonization effortsBalance speed and pragmatism with architectural coherence across a rapidly growing, acquisition-driven enterpriseInfluence teams and stakeholders to align on architecture decisions without direct authorityProvide clear recommendations and say 'no' when required, with credibility grounded in financial control risk, data quality, integration impact, cost, and delivery feasibilitySkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Data Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience8+ years in enterprise architecture, finance systems architecture, data architecture, MDM architecture, or related rolesDemonstrated experience designing and governing finance platforms, master data domains, data flows, or ERP-centric system landscapesStrong system-level thinking and architectural judgmentAbility to translate finance, accounting, and master data processes into scalable technology architecturesAbility to communicate technical concepts in clear, business-oriented languageStakeholder management across finance, accounting, data, applications, and business teamsWork independently with minimal oversightOperate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environmentsMake sound tradeoffs between speed, cost, and long-term sustainabilityNavigate complex operational environments across multiple business units, acquired companies, systems, and data domainsComfortable challenging assumptions and decisions constructivelyTrusted partner to finance, data, applications, engineering, and integration teamsPragmatic architect who balances enterprise standards with operational realitiesStrong financial accounting, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, intercompany, consolidation, and reporting processesMaster Data Management patterns across customer, supplier, product/item, chart of accounts, legal entity, location, and related enterprise data domainsFinance data flows, accounting controls, operational reporting, analytics, and reconciliation processesData governance, data stewardship,
