They are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Developer to build, optimize, and embed machine learning models for on-device inference within their QSIDS detection engine, ensuring high performance and reliability in production environments.ResponsibilitiesBuild, optimize, and embed machine learning models for on-device inference within the QSIDS detection engineOptimize models for performance and resource constraints, minimizing memory footprint, latency, and compute on-deviceCollaborate closely with systems engineers to integrate models efficiently into a Go-based engineTake models all the way to production and own them once they're running, monitoring performance, detecting drift, and iterating to keep them reliableCollaborate with stakeholders to define milestones and ensure timelines align with development needsParticipate in discussions on technological choices and decisions regarding product developmentResolve anomalies and problems as soon as they ariseStay on the lookout for the latest ML and other technologies and best practices - but resist novelty chasingHelp onboard and train colleagues as the team growsEffectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersSkills7+ years' experience building and shipping machine learning models to production- including deploying, running, and monitoring them in live environmentsHands-on track record owning models post-deployment: monitoring performance, detecting drift, and iterating on production systemsA bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)Experience embedding ML models for on-device inference (a strong asset for this role)Experience with high-performance, low-resource systems programming (memory management, multithreading, optimization), ideally in Go or an adjacent systems languageBilingual (French and English)Experience working in a startup environmentMaster's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical fieldBenefitsCompetitive salary range.Enjoy up to six weeks of paid time off annually, because we value your work-life balance.Comprehensive health benefits, including:Life insuranceShort- and long-term disabilityParamedical and telemedicine servicesHealth Spending Account (HSA)Company OverviewQohash finds, tracks, and safeguards the world's most sensitive data.
