[Remote] Senior Legal and Licensing Specialist - Remote

The Senior Legal and Licensing Specialist maintains records and coordinates with applicants and agencies to ensure timely filing of license applications, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.ResponsibilitiesActs as a resource for colleagues; audits work of non-senior colleagues, may direct the work of other staff membersAssists in training of new team membersTracking and gathers metrics of projects, renewal and new applicationsResponsible for completing licensing and provider enrollment applications and all activities surrounding those functions for new, renewal and update scenariosResponsible for notifying states of de-activation or changes related to licensesParticipates in project progress calls, presenting progress success/failure information with plans of actionResponsible for assisting in the creating and evaluating of documentation and training materialsAssists branch offices with all tasks related to Licensing and Provider Enrollment activitiesSupports legal department with corporate governance, real estate and other matters as assignedSkillsHigh School Diploma/GEDMinimum (5) years' experience in the healthcare industry working specifically with licensing and enrollmentExperience working with various licensing boards, Pharmacy and Department of Health (Home Health) and completing licensing applicationsExperience working with Medicare and Medicaid and completing applicationsExperience in identifying issues and recommending/implementing ways to resolve issues and problemsDemonstrated communication both verbally (on phone, one-on-one, to groups) and in writing (emails, letters, reports, presentations) to various audiences (work group, team, company management, prospective acquisitions, external clients)Experience developing ways of accomplishing goals with little or no supervision, depending on oneself to complete objectives and determining when escalation of issues is necessaryExperience working as a paralegal or legal assistant in support of legal department activitiesParalegal certification, preferredBachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., legal studies, business administration), preferredExperience in licensing and/or provider enrollment functionsExperience in navigating licensing and provider portalsExperience in Corporate Governance, specifically maintaining corporate records, including articles of incorporation, bylaws, and resolutionsStrong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Excel, Access and WordSkilled in problem solving and critical analysisBenefitsMedical, Dental, & Vision Insurance401K Retirement Savings Plan with Company MatchHSA Company MatchFlexible Spending AccountsTuition ReimbursementMyFlexPayFamily SupportMental Health ServicesCompany Paid Life InsuranceAward/Recognition ProgramsCompany OverviewOption Care Home Health LLC is a company based out of Delaware, United States.
