They are seeking a Senior Java Backend Engineer to take ownership of projects, lead architectural collaborations, and ensure strong technical execution within a small engineering team.ResponsibilitiesData Flow & Scaling Optimization: Heavy optimization of massive data ingestion flows and high-throughput backend architectures to process internet-scale datasets reliablyOrchestration Workflows: Architect, deploy, and maintain stable distributed workflows utilizing Temporal orchestrationProduction Engineering: Systematically refactor and transition existing highly profitable MVPs into highly stable, scalable enterprise production architecturesGreenfield Development: Build out new features from scratch to extend the narrative tracking platform's data aggregation and search functionalitiesCloud & Infrastructure Management: Package and deploy robust backend systems onto Kubernetes clusters using infrastructure-as-code with TerraformDatabase Ecosystem Alignment: Work intimately with complex relational and graph storage mechanisms, heavily utilizing PostgreSQL and Neo4jTechnical Ownership: Drive independent end-to-end execution of architectural features without relying on layers of corporate project managementSkillsMandatory Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related technical fieldMinimum of 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
