[Remote] Senior IT Business Analyst-Accounting Systems

The Senior IT Business Analyst – Accounting Systems serves as a functional IT partner supporting a heavily customized ERP and accounting systems environment, working closely with various teams to troubleshoot issues, gather requirements, and improve operational workflows.ResponsibilitiesPartner with Accounting, Payroll, Operations, and IT teams to gather and document requirementsTranslate business needs into detailed functional specifications for developers and technical teamsSupport and troubleshoot issues within ERP and accounting systems environmentsCoordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements and changesCreate and maintain process documentation, functional specifications, process flows, and user guidesAssist with system configuration, testing, and implementation activitiesProvide support to end users and assist with Help Desk ticket triage and issue resolutionResearch system issues independently and coordinate with developers when technical escalation is requiredSupport ongoing process improvement initiatives and identify operational efficienciesBecome a subject matter expert in assigned ERP/accounting system areasSkills5+ years of experience in Business Systems Analysis, ERP support, or functional IT support rolesExperience supporting accounting, payroll, AP, AR, or financial business processesStrong communication and documentation skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical teamsExperience troubleshooting functional system issues and supporting end usersComfortable working in legacy or highly customized systems environmentsStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independentlyExperience with Visio, Jira, Confluence, or similar tools preferredBasic SQL knowledge or query experience is a plusExperience in construction, manufacturing, industrial, logistics, or distribution environments preferredBenefitsMedical, dental, vision, life and disability insuranceA generous 401k planCompany OverviewWith a commitment to safety as its foremost value, BrandSafway provides the broadest range of solutions with the greatest depth of expertise to the industrial, commercial and infrastructure markets.
