[Remote] Senior IT Business Analyst

The Senior IT Business Analyst role is essential for addressing business challenges by gathering requirements, proposing solutions, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver effective technology solutions.ResponsibilitiesLead business needs analysis sessions to define and document solution requirements, detailed user stories, user personas, and acceptance criteria through interviews, workshops, and stakeholder collaborationPartner with stakeholders across multiple business functions to align state and national business requirements into cohesive technology solutionsConduct impact analysis, data flow mapping, and feasibility assessments for new functionality or regulatory updatesAnalyze and model current business processes, workflows, user flows, and data structures to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficienciesParticipate in the evaluation and selection of technology solutions to ensure alignment with business and technical requirementsSupport developers and solution architects by identifying opportunities to leverage AI capabilities that enable scalable, value-driven solutionsParticipate in test planning, use case development, and solution validation activities to ensure technology solutions meet business requirements and maintain system integrityAs needed, collaborate with national and state business users to support solution design, testing, and deployment of system enhancements, upgrades, and fixes while supporting CAA enterprise processes and architectureAs needed, review and support business-developed documentation including user guides, training materials, and process documentationMentor junior analysts and contribute to continuous improvement of business analysis standards, methodologies, and best practicesMaintain end-to-end requirements traceability from business requirements through user stories, solution delivery, testing and production deploymentDevelop and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting artifacts in accordance with IT PMO standardsSupport backlog prioritization and requirements refinement in partnership with business stakeholders, product owners, and delivery teamsMaintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including user stories, requirements, test cases, and release notesUse Jira, Lucid chart and other IT PMO Tools for backlog management, progress tracking, and visualization of workflows and dependenciesContribute to continuous improvement of IT PMO/Portfolio templates, processes, and agile delivery practicesOther job-related duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree required7+ years of Business Analysis, Product Ownership, Requirements Management, or business-facing solution delivery experience5+ years of experience supporting the design, delivery, and maintenance of solutionsExperience working across stakeholders in a completely remote organization is a plusExperience in the Health Insurance or Supply Chain industries is a plusExperience working in regulated environments with evolving business, compliance, or reporting requirements preferredCompany OverviewCircular Action Alliance (CAA) is a U.S. It was founded in 2022, and is headquartered in Washington, District of Columbia, US, with a workforce of 51-200 employees.
