Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of comprehensive experience in insurance underwriting, with a focus on complex risks. Proven track record of making sound underwriting judgments and managing a profitable book of business. In-depth knowledge of insurance products, policy structures, risk management principles, and relevant regulations. Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Strong negotiation and communication abilities, with the capacity to articulate complex decisions clearly. Proficiency in underwriting software and data analysis tools. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote environment. Professional designations such as CPCU, AU, or similar are highly preferred.
