[Remote] Senior Implementation Consultant

The Senior Implementation Consultant will be responsible for providing software implementation delivery services, ensuring quality work products and integrated solutions for professional services clients, while demonstrating proficiency in delivering functional and technical solutions. This role involves working independently and as part of a team to meet client business needs and may require some travel to client locations.ResponsibilitiesWork as both an individual contributor and team member to provide software implementation delivery services that ensure both quality work products and an integrated solution on budget and in a timely manner to our professional services clientsOperate independently and demonstrate proficiency in delivering functional and technical solutions on engagements applying Deltek methodology and best practicesWork as part of a team lead to deliver the solution design and configuration to meet client business needs, as well as varied implementation aspects of the engagements in coordination with Project ManagementThis is a revenue generating position with performance metrics tied to results and utilizationSome travel will be required to clients when practicable and limited international travel may be expectedSkillsWorked for at least 3-5 years in a consulting capacity, implementing ERP solutions, or working as a Financial Controller within a professional services environmentSpecific knowledge in Core Accounting, Billing, G/L, AP, AR and Financial Reporting processes and best practicesThorough understanding of operational business processes, ERP knowledge and Resource PlanningSuccessful completion of at least one full lifecycle ERP implementation of a major enterprise suiteExcellent communication and presentation skills and ability to effectively present to Executive ManagementUnderstanding of business processes and KPI's, and a clear ability to articulate these concepts and impactsUnderstanding of how to work with IT and a keen interest in technology, to include configuration, testing etcStrong communication, presentation and expectation management skillsAbility to communicate in writing and verbally with a very diverse client base, particularly to a senior level audienceGood understanding of complex sales cycle with analytical / problem solving skillsData manipulation skills, at a minimum ‘not afraid to try'Positive, energetic, 'can-do' attitudeA willingness, if not a passion for travelKnowledge of a Deltek Maconomy implementation would be beneficial, but not requiredEnthusiasm towards accounting software and related technologyBenefitsEmployees have access to healthcare benefitsA 401(k) plan and company matchPaid vacation time and holidaysWell-living programsShort-term and long-term disability coverageBasic life insuranceTuition reimbursementCompany OverviewDeltek is an enterprise software and information solutions provider for professional services firms and government contractors.
