[Remote] Senior HRIS Analyst, Recruiting

National Veterinary Associates (NVA) is seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst to support the configuration, maintenance, and improvement of their HR systems, including applicant tracking. The role involves hands-on system work, analysis, testing, and troubleshooting in a dynamic environment, aiming to enhance the organization's HR technology usage.ResponsibilitiesSupport configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of core HR and applicant tracking systems, including workflows, fields, forms, and related behaviorSupport and validate integrations between HR/ATS systems and connected recruiting or CRM platforms, including monitoring data flow, troubleshooting failures, and assessing downstream impactsServe as a quality assurance partner and tester for system changes, integration updates, and defect fixesPartner with team members and vendors to test releases, regression scenarios, and changes prior to production deploymentManage a steady volume of support issues and requests, prioritizing, investigating, and resolving them within established service levelsAnalyze HR and recruiting workflows and system usage to support issue resolution, process clarity, and system improvementsCreate and maintain clear, structured documentation, including configuration notes, test plans, and reference materialsPrepare findings, test results, risks, and recommended options to support decision-makingPartner directly with HR team members and business stakeholders on questions and system needsEscalate complex, cross-system, or out-of-scope issues through established channelsOperate effectively in an environment with frequent change, evolving priorities, and incomplete informationMaintain working knowledge of HR, ATS, and CRM data structures, triggers, and behavior as they relate to business processesSupport integration validation, file-based or API-driven troubleshooting, and vendor coordinationValidate reporting outputs and downstream systems affected by configuration and integration changesParticipate in cross-functional HR system support and harmonization initiativesSkills4+ years of experience supporting HR systemsStrong Excel skills requiredBachelor's degree in business, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experienceExperience with system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and production supportComfortable working directly in technical tools and supporting live production environmentsFamiliarity with recruiting workflows, job posting processes, and candidate lifecycle stagesMaintain working knowledge of HR, ATS, and CRM data structures, triggers, and behavior as they relate to business processesExperience in Dayforce preferredExperience supporting applicant tracking systems (ATS) and integrations with external CRM or recruiting platforms preferredExposure to integrations, APIs, flat files, or vendor-managed connections preferredBenefitsBonus: AIP Target 8%Company OverviewNVA offers a complete continuum of innovative care for every pet, every need, across every stage of their life and your life.
