[Remote] Senior Fund Accountant

They are seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to manage financial operations and collaborate closely with Senior Management while providing consulting services to VC Fund Admin clients.ResponsibilitiesPrepare journal entries for monthly, quarterly, and annual period closings and create financial statements and associated reports for Venture Capital and Private Equity Funds, as well as associated entities (general partner, management companies, special purpose vehicles, etc.)Prepare management fee calculationsAssist with accounts payable and intercompany transactionsCash management - including day to day activities, investment transactions and monthly reconciliationsPrepare investor capital calls and distributionsAssist with annual client audits and work with external auditorsAssist with preparation of tax related files, including annual Form 1099 preparation and submission as well as Schedule K-1 reviewAssist with compliance related issues, such as state and local tax filings, and registrationsPerform special projects as requestedSkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 2-3 years' related fund administration or private fund experienceStrong organizational skills with ability to multitask, prioritize, and complete projects in a dynamic environmentStrong aptitude for producing accurate numbers and attention to detailStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a remote team, with a high degree of flexibilityCPAPrior experience processing payrollProficiency with multiple software applications (QuickBooks, Excel and other Office applications)Benefits401K with employer matchHealth benefitsVacationFloater holidaysPaid company holidaysContinuous training (through various certification courses)Mentors for your career goalsTeamworkCompany OverviewFor 30 years, Kranz Consulting has advised and supported entrepreneurs and founders through the complexities of building high-growth businesses, and over 2,500 companies stand as a testament to our ability to turn entrepreneurial innovation into superior valuation.
