[Remote] Senior Full Stack Developer

Karsun Solutions is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer who will be responsible for the entire software development lifecycle of assigned software components. This role involves developing applications, designing microservices, and collaborating within a SAFe Agile framework.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, test, and deploy full-stack applications, including dashboards, process automation tools, and interface applications, using Java, JEE, Spring/Spring Boot, Angular and other relevant technologiesDesign, develop, and maintain API microservices that are scalable, resilient, and secureHands-on role with extensive involvement in the full development lifecycle, including design, development, unit testing, implementation, maintenance and enhancement of applicationsCollaborate effectively with other developers, testers, and stakeholders within a SAFe Agile environmentIdentify and implement opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, and securityDrive the migration of ASSIST monolith applications to the latest microservices architectureConduct thorough code peer reviews and make sure developers are following the Java coding standards and best practicesSkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field8-10 years of experience in full-stack development using Java/JEEStrong proficiency in Java, JEE and related technologies, including Spring/Spring Boot and Angular frameworksExperience with API microservices development and JOOQ ORM, integrating ESRI ArcGIS geospatial APIsHands-on experience with Docker, Apache Maven, JBoss Enterprise Application Platforms and cloud-native application hostingSolid understanding of responsive design principles and implementationExpert Proficiency and hands on experience with UI frameworks such as Angular, Bootstrap, jQuery, and DataTablesExperience with Java Persistence API(JPA) and Hibernate ORMsExperience with Atlassian Application Lifecycle Management tools (JIRA/Confluence)Experience with AI Prompt Templates, Prompt engineering and applying them to developer AI tools such as Github CoPilotAvailability during core business hours of 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM ESTAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearanceCompany OverviewKarsun Solutions LLC specializes in Enterprise Modernization and Transformation solutions for the Federal Government.
