The Senior Forecasting Analyst plays a critical role within the FP&A function, serving as a subject matter expert in forecasting and financial analytics, enhancing decision-making through advanced analytics and insights.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, execute, and continuously enhance end-to-end forecasting models by leveraging advanced analytical techniques, historical trends, business drivers, and documented methodologies to improve accuracy and support planning cyclesLead the design and execution of advanced analytical frameworks, synthesizing complex KPI trends, risks, and opportunities into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for senior leadershipCollaborate cross-functionally to gather data, deliver clear and concise reporting, present insights to leadership, and maintain thorough documentation of financial models, assumptions, and methodologiesIdentify and drive process improvements through automation and streamlined data workflows, enhancing the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of forecasting and reporting functionsSkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field4-5 years of experience in corporate financial programs, reporting, analytics, and impact assessmentAdvanced knowledge of data analysis and the development of statistical and financial data to support reporting and business recommendationsAdvanced analytical and financial modeling skills using Excel, Power BI, SQL, and/or Python/R, including experience building scalable forecasting solutionsExperience with financial systems and planning tools (e.g., ERP systems and CPM platforms such as OneStream or similar)Knowledge of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and reporting standardsFamiliarity with statutory and GAAP accounting, with life insurance industry experience considered a plusExecutive Communication SkillsStrong problem solving and decision-making skillsCompany OverviewAAA Life Insurance Company is fueled by our mission of providing financial security and peace of mind to AAA members through a variety of life insurance, accident, and annuity products.
