[Remote] Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst

U.S. Financial Technology (U.S. FinTech) is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst to join their team of talented professionals. The role involves supporting enterprise-level planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting, as well as maintaining the financial planning system and implementing enhancements.ResponsibilitiesCoordinates with business partner FP&A team to prepare and validate consolidated planning, budgeting and forecasting. Supports the development of planning and forecasting materialSupports the Manager of FP&A in creating reporting packages, works closely with business partner FP&A and accounting teams to gather inputs and validate data accuracy, and contributes analytical commentary and performance insightsSupports the development of financial models and runs scenario analyses under the FP&A Manager / Directorβs guidance to support decision-making and executive discussionsMaintains FP&A systems, executes data uploads and reconciliations, and supports system enhancements and process improvements under the Manager's directionWorks closely with business partner FP&A and accounting teams to gather inputs, consolidate data, and ensure accurate financial reportingSupports risk management activities within FP&A, including and not limited to: process risk assessment, Process Procedure and RCM updates, RCSA, KI reporting, Data GovernanceSkillsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years in Financial Planning and Analysis supporting business or technology areasApplicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring employer sponsorship currently or in the futureKnowledge of FP&A processes, financial systems, corporate reporting and consolidationProject Management β Plans, coordinates, and executes complex financial initiatives and system enhancements efficientlyAnalytical Problem-Solving β Uses quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify root causes, optimize outcomes, and solve complex business issuesExecutive-Level Communication β Clearly communicates insights, recommendations, and financial implications to senior executivesFP&A Systems Proficiency β Maintains and optimizes financial planning and reporting systems to ensure accurate and efficient processesCPA or MBA in Finance or similar degreeBenefitsPerformance bonus401k matchHealthcare coveragePTOA broad range of other benefitsCompany OverviewU.S. Financial Technology is a newly launched fintech company replacing Common Securitization Solutions for mortgage securities technology.
