[Remote] Senior Financial Modeling Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. NTT Global Data Centers is a leading provider of data center solutions, seeking a Senior Financial Modeling Analyst to join their team. The role involves gathering and analyzing financial recommendations for capital investments and sales opportunities, working closely with various departments to develop business case modeling and evaluate project profitability.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Work with other departments to pull together assumptions to build business case for new sites
ā¢ Analyze business case inputs for reasonableness and comparison to other investments
ā¢ Update new site business cases with actuals, revised forecast assumptions and compare against original business case
ā¢ Analyze financial results and evaluate asset performance
ā¢ Understand and calculate financial business plan measurements including IRR, NPV & terminal value
ā¢ Forecast debt requirements and submit draw requests
ā¢ Collaborate with Sales department to understand large deal commercial terms to prepare profitability analysis for board approval
ā¢ Update business cases with large deal opportunities to evaluate sales impact on project profitability and against budget
ā¢ Provide support to third party investors thru profitability analysis and data support
ā¢ Prepare cost comparison analysis as requested
ā¢ Prepare power point presentations for Executive audience communicating financial metrics
ā¢ Other projects as assigned to support Finance department
ā¢ Performs other duties as assigned
ā¢ Prepare various monthly actual vs. budget (vs. forecast) reports and produce variance analyses for assigned departments; effectively communicating key takeaways
ā¢ Monitor and report on key financial and operational metrics
ā¢ Performs other duties and adhoc analytics as assigned
ā¢ Calculate and track global cost allocations to different regions
Skills
ā¢ Extensive knowledge of IFRS
ā¢ Ability to work across different cultures and systems
ā¢ Ability to communicate complex Financial/Accounting terminology and capture key requirements from financial and non-financial personnel
ā¢ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
ā¢ Extensive demonstrable financial modeling and report development experience
ā¢ Proficient in championing analytics assignments and capturing key takeaways with minimal supervision
ā¢ Experience in managing budget related requirements within a formal planning platform (Hyperion, SAP, etc.) required
ā¢ Experience in leveraging reporting output tools such as PowerBI, others required
ā¢ Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel required (must be able to use lookups, pivot tables, and other advanced functionality)
ā¢ Advanced skillset in Microsoft Suite of products (Outlook, Powerpoint, Word)
ā¢ Able to work in a team environment
ā¢ Manages stress and/or fast-pace effectively
ā¢ Able to adapt effectively to changing priorities
ā¢ BS/BA degree in accounting or finance
ā¢ Minimum 8-10 years of relevant high-level Financial Planning and Analysis experience
ā¢ This position is expected to be remote for the foreseeable future with an occasional need to be onsite in a shared work environment
ā¢ Must be able to accommodate calls in global time zones
ā¢ Travel will be required, up to 10%
ā¢ Must possess a current, valid state-issued driver's license
ā¢ Experience in working within Hyperion/Smartview platform
