Motion & Control Enterprises (MCE) is a top-50 national industrial distributor that is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to partner with the VP of FP&A and operational leadership. The role involves driving budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and serving as a system administrator for the OneStream financial planning platform.ResponsibilitiesLead and assist with the annual budgeting process and in-year reforecasting cycles across MCE's multi-company enterpriseSupport long-range financial planning by developing models and scenarios that inform strategic decision-makingWork directly with operational leadership to provide financial guidance and modeling on strategic initiatives and capital allocation decisionsProvide meaningful month-end analysis of consolidated business results identifying trends, variances, and areas of concern with clear, actionable commentaryDevelop and maintain KPIs that give leadership real visibility into business performance across MCE's diverse portfolio of companiesComplete and support required monthly deliverables to the management team and ownership group, including board-level presentation materialsAssist the Accounting team with the month-end close process as neededServe as a system administrator for MCE's OneStream financial consolidation and planning platform managing configurations, user access, and system integrityLiaise with IT or outside service providers on system issues, enhancements, and integrationsSkills5–7 years of FP&A or closely related finance experience with increasing responsibility in a complex, multi-entity organizationStrong financial modeling, data analysis, and forecasting skills you build models that drive decisions, not just fill spreadsheetsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointExperience in preparing and presenting board-level financial materialsEffective communicator across all levels of an organization equally comfortable in a CFO review and a conversation with an ops managerAbility to manage multiple priorities accurately and independently in a fast-paced, changing environmentBachelor's degree in Finance or AccountingMBA or CPA strongly preferredPrivate equity-backed company experience you understand the reporting cadence and ownership expectationsProficiency with OneStream highly preferred; other enterprise financial planning software (Anaplan, Adaptive, Hyperion) is also relevantExperience with Power BI or other data visualization toolsFamiliarity with Epicor Prophet 21 or similar ERP/distribution platformsBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision coverage.Company-paid life, AD&D, and short- and long-term disability insurance.401(k) with a generous company match.Generous PTO and paid holidays.Tuition reimbursementPaid parental leave.Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Voluntary benefit products.Company OverviewFounded in 1951, MCE is a supplier of technical fluid power, automation, flow control, rotating equipment products, filtration, service, and repair solutions.
