[Remote] Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Trinity Life Sciences is a trusted strategic commercialization partner in the life sciences sector. The Senior Financial Analyst will collaborate with SG&A leaders and the FP&A team to support financial planning, forecasting, and reporting, delivering insights on SG&A performance and maintaining forecasting accuracy.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Serve as an FP&A business partner to SG&A leaders (e.g., People Operations, IT, Facilities, Legal, Accounting, Strategic Operations), supporting day-to-day financial analysis and decision-making
ā¢ Play a key role in annual planning and quarterly forecasting processes, including ownership of SG&A forecasts and assumptions
ā¢ Prepare and analyze monthly financial performance against annual plan and prior year, identifying key drivers and variances
ā¢ Contribute to monthly executive and board reporting, including preparation of slides, analyses, and written commentary
ā¢ Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and reporting in Excel and Adaptive Planning, incorporating operational data from systems such as Salesforce
ā¢ Work with large and complex datasets across multiple systems, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity
ā¢ Prepare recurring and ad hoc internal reporting and analysis for FP&A leadership and senior stakeholders
ā¢ Support broader FP&A initiatives, cross-functional projects, and continuous improvement efforts as needed
Skills
ā¢ 4ā7 years of relevant financial experience, preferably in FP&A, corporate finance, or related roles
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
ā¢ Advanced Excel skills, including building and maintaining complex financial models, and experience with financial reporting and forecasting tools (e.g., Adaptive Planning, Salesforce, BI)
ā¢ Strong understanding of financial statements, U.S. GAAP, and core finance principles
ā¢ Excellent analytical skills with the ability to communicate insights clearly and concisely to both finance and non-finance partners
ā¢ Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
ā¢ Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally within a matrixed organization
ā¢ Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support broader FP&A deliverables
ā¢ MBA or CPA a plus
