[Remote] Senior Financial Analyst

Command Alkon is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who will focus on revenue, GTM planning, and sales commissions within the FP&A team. The role involves revenue modeling, sales reporting, and driving financial insights while managing sales commission and incentive compensation programs.ResponsibilitiesMaintain and refresh our ARR model monthly, including analyzing key trends by customer, product and revenue type, with support from other GTM team membersMeet with department heads within Sales and Marketing to discuss financial results, including actuals vs. targets, future forecasts and potential growth opportunitiesAdminister sales commission and incentive compensation plans, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and timely payouts each pay cycleServe as the primary administrator for our commission management platform (CaptivateIQ), maintaining plan setup, participant data, and workflow configurationAssist the FP&A team in preparation of monthly/quarterly reporting packages for the Executive team, Board of Directors and department heads. Own the analysis of revenue data, provide commentary on variances and insights into key trendsDig into key financial metrics (incl. margin, retention, x-sell and new bookings) by product and revenue type to support the business in achieving its desired outcomesAnalyze sales pipeline and bookings trends to assist with target setting and forecasting revenueContinue to improve processes, increase efficiency and analyze trends with the goal of helping drive improvements and success within the FP&A team and the business partners we supportSkills3+ years of applicable experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, consulting, analytics, or investment bankingStrong financial modeling and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of key financial metrics, budgeting and forecasting techniquesHands-on experience administering a commission management or Sales Performance Management (SPM) platformKeen interest in automation and AI, helping to build out further data / AI capabilities within the finance functionExpert knowledge and comfort with ExcelAbility to build strong and collaborative relationships with business partners at all levels of an organizationAbility to communicate complex financial or quantitative topics in an easily digestible wayA self-starter who has the intellectual curiosity to independently identify and solve problemsAn owner who wants to learn and manage projects from end-to-endExcellent interpersonal skills and a great teammate excited to help build and grow the FP&A teamBachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related fieldCompetent level of communication β Great listener and effective written/verbal skillsExperience with CaptivateIQ is strongly preferredExperience with Power BI, PowerQuery and PowerPivot are a plusSystems experience with Salesforce, NetSuite (ERP), Adaptive Planning, Snowflake, or other similar systems a plusTechnology/SaaS industry and GTM experience preferredMBA or other advanced degree a plusCompany OverviewCommand Alkon is a global supplier of integrated solutions for construction materials producers.
