[Remote] Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst role is designed to serve as a strategic financial leader, driving financial health and operational excellence through data-driven insights, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.ResponsibilitiesLead all financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities for the labels manufacturing segment, including annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and financial modelsAnalyze past financial performance to predict future trends and support planning initiativesCollaborate with various departments to ensure alignment with financial goals and forecastsGather and analyze financial data from multiple sources to provide actionable insightsDevelop financial models to assist in decision-making and business strategyDevelop and track key performance indicators (KPIs), operational metrics, and financial reports to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunitiesIdentify cost-saving opportunities and make recommendations to improve profitabilityDrive continuous improvement in financial reporting tools, dashboards, and analyticsChampioned adoption of AI-enabled tools (PromptQL and M365 Copilot) to enhance financial analysis, streamline reporting processes, and improve decision-making speed across the finance organizationAnalyze customer-level financial data to determine profitability by customer segmentEvaluate the impact of customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value on overall profitabilityProvide recommendations on pricing strategies, customer discounts, and service levels based on profitability insightsConduct in-depth analysis of product-level profitability, including cost structures, revenue streams, and marginsIdentify high- and low-performing products by analyzing product costs, sales volume, and market trendsCollaborate with product teams to guide decisions on product launches, pricing, and discontinuations based on financial performanceOther activities as neededSkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field requiredMinimum of 4–7 years of progressive finance experience, preferably within a manufacturing environmentAdvanced analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate clearly to non-financial stakeholdersExcellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skillsProficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesStrategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solvingMBA or CPA preferredExperience in labels, packaging, or related manufacturing industries preferredExperience with Power BI or other financial reporting tools preferredDemonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and influence cross-functional teamsCompany OverviewM2S Group is a material science and solutions company that offers high-performance products in several industries.
