[Remote] Senior Financial Analyst

DeWinter Group is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support revenue forecasting, commercial finance, and sales planning activities during a leave of absence coverage. The role involves driving revenue forecasting processes, analyzing financial data, and preparing revenue reports to support sales and commercial teams.ResponsibilitiesDrive revenue forecasting and planning processes across retail, distribution, and direct-to-consumer channelsAnalyze margins, deductions, and promotional activity to identify trends and forecast risks/opportunitiesDevelop and maintain financial models that support revenue projections, demand planning, promotional investments, and profitability analysisPrepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly revenue reporting, including variance analysis against budget, forecast, and actual resultsSupport sales and commercial teams with performance tracking, KPI reporting, and business insightsPartner with Accounting to manage promotional accruals, deductions, and other revenue-related reservesSkillsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field5+ years of experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, Revenue Finance, Sales Finance, or related analytical rolesStrong understanding of revenue forecasting, demand planning, channel performance analysis, and financial reportingAdvanced Excel skills with the ability to build and maintain complex financial modelsExperience supporting consumer products, consumer electronics, retail, or distribution-based businessesExperience with Anaplan strongly preferred; SAP S/4HANA experience is a plusCompany OverviewThe DeWinter Group is the Bay Area's premier provider of accounting, finance, & IT staffing & recruiting.
