The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver financial planning, analysis, and reporting for project objectives, ensuring alignment with mission priorities.ResponsibilitiesPerform planning, tracking analysis, and reporting on project financials to ensure alignment with project goalsImplement financial policies and procedures to support project objectives and complianceEstablish and maintain cost/schedule baselines, develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), schedules, Resource Loaded Networks (RLNs), and budgetsImplement Earned Value methodologies and perform related variance analyses to monitor project performancePrepare written and verbal reports to management regarding cost/schedule variances and project financial statusSupport program life-cycle activities such as setup and maintenance, as well as working capital activities like invoicing support for unbilled costs, accruals, on-hold costs, and cost backupProvide program financial revenue projection and variance support to ensure accurate forecastingCollaborate with Project Managers, Contracts Administrators, senior technical personnel, and other organizations to align financial planning with project goalsReport all contractor labor hours (including subcontractor labor hours) required for performance of services provided under the contractSchedule, coordinate, and host Task Order Kick-Off Meetings to ensure alignment between contractor and Government personnelDevelop and provide Monthly Status Reports (MSR) detailing progress, issues, and financial statusConduct Quarterly Program Management Reviews (PMRs) to brief on technical accomplishments and project statusPrepare and update a Project Management Plan (PMP) to document support requirements and management approachSupport the Government in performing all auditing and audit reporting to external independent public auditorsManage travel and purchasing requests to ensure compliance with Government approval processesProvide transition-in and transition-out support to ensure seamless transitions between contractorsSkillsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum of 8 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and reportingProficiency in developing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Resource Loaded Networks (RLNs)Strong understanding of financial policies and procedures in a project environmentExperience with program life-cycle activities, including invoicing support and cost managementProficient in Microsoft applications, such as: Project, Excel, Power Point and WordExcellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to managementAbility to collaborate effectively with Project Managers, Contracts Administrators, and senior technical personnelKnowledge of Leidos financial systems such as: CostPoint, Cognos, Fusion, and InsightExperience in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment or with DoD financial systemsExperience with System and Organization Controls (SOC) audits and reportingFamiliarity with Government contracting processes and requirementsBenefitsCompetitive compensationHealth and Wellness programsIncome ProtectionPaid LeaveRetirementCompany OverviewLeidos is a Fortune 500® innovation company working to solve the world’s toughest challenges in government, intelligence, defence, aviation, border protection and health markets.
