As a Senior Finance Manager, you will serve as a trusted finance business partner to Channel & Alliances leadership, leading financial planning, forecasting, and performance reporting across the partner ecosystem.ResponsibilitiesServe as a trusted finance business partner to Channel & Alliances leadership, driving end-to-end financial planning cycles including annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, and monthly close processes with rigor and precisionConduct in-depth analysis of bookings, headcount, operating expenses, and partner program investments to uncover key performance drivers, assess variances, and identify actionable opportunities for improvementCultivate a deep understanding of channel go-to-market routes β€” including Distributors, Resellers, Global System Integrators (GSIs), Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and OEMs β€” to accurately forecast quarterly program spend, model financial scenarios, and maximize return on investment across the partner portfolioDefine, develop, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) in collaboration with the Analytics team, building scalable dashboards that provide real-time visibility into partner performance across the organizationPrepare and deliver compelling financial reports and executive presentations, translating complex data into clear narratives that inform strategic decisions and drive leadership alignmentLead and support high-impact strategic projects, including business model transitions, go-to-market evolution, and operational transformation initiatives that advance Cohesity’s growth agendaFoster strong cross-functional partnerships with Corporate Finance, Revenue Operations, Talent Acquisition, and HR to ensure financial strategies are tightly aligned with organizational priorities and workforce planningSkillsBachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA is a plus6–8 years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, with a strong preference for backgrounds in high-growth technology or SaaS environmentsPrior experience supporting Partner Go-to-Market (GTM) ecosystems is strongly preferred, with a deep understanding of channel routes to market β€” including Distributors, Resellers, Global System Integrators (GSIs), Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and OEMs β€” and the financial dynamics unique to each modelExceptional analytical acumen with the ability to synthesize large, complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that inform executive-level decisionsDemonstrated ability to manage competing priorities with precision and composure in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, maintaining meticulous attention to detail under deadline pressureAdvanced proficiency in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and a solid command of accounting principles as applied in a technology business contextHands-on experience with enterprise ERP and financial planning tools; proficiency with platforms such as Salesforce, Tableau, Adaptive Insights, and NetSuite is highly desirableOutstanding communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse cross-functional teams and senior leadershipDemonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision makingBenefitsHealth and wellness benefitsVacationPaid holidays and refresh days401(k) retirement planLife and disability insurance coveragesOther benefits the Company may offer from time to timeCompany OverviewCohesity is a data management technology firm that offers hyper-converged secondary storage solutions for backups, files, and analytics.
