[Remote] Senior Field Application Engineer

They are seeking a Senior Field Application Engineer to perform advanced field support, providing technical leadership and guidance while ensuring reliable operation of traffic signal and management equipment.ResponsibilitiesProvide coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance to new and existing Field Application EngineersSupport the growth and development of field teams and contribute to process and performance improvementsPerform traffic signal turn‑on activities, including installation, setup, commissioning, and servicing of field equipmentConfigure and support controllers and video detection systemsTroubleshoot traffic control cabinets and associated field equipmentIdentify, analyze, and resolve equipment malfunctions using maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, electronic tools, and test equipmentRework, repair, test, troubleshoot, and maintain traffic signal and traffic management equipmentTrain public agency engineers and signal technicians on traffic signal equipment operation, maintenance, and best practicesMaintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and field activities in accordance with contractual requirementsAssist in diagnosing and analyzing malfunctions in operational equipment and support corrective actionsPerform other related duties as required to support operational and customer needsSkillsFour‑year college degree in engineering related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum of five (5) years of traffic signal field experienceIMSA Level III Certification requiredExperience with Traffic Management Systems requiredAbility to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentationProficiency with electronic tools, diagnostic equipment, and test instrumentsStrong technical troubleshooting and analytical problem‑solving skillsEffective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to train and support customersStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlinesGood interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and collaborativelyProficiency with standard office software, including word processing and spreadsheet applicationsAbility and willingness to travel domestically and internationally and work non‑standard hours to meet customer requirementsDemonstrated commitment to achieving high‑quality results efficiently and safelyCompany OverviewCubic Corporation (Cubic) is an international provider of systems and solutions that address the mass transit and global defense markets.
