[Remote] Senior Federal Health Technical Project Manager

They are seeking a Senior Technology Project Manager to oversee and drive the successful delivery of large-scale Federal Health programs, leveraging technical expertise and program management skills to ensure robust performance of healthcare IT modernization efforts.ResponsibilitiesLead and direct large-scale technology deployments for federal healthcare programs, ensuring timely delivery, quality execution, and compliance with stringent government security standardsCollaborate directly with federal clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to develop and execute strategic technology roadmaps aligned to mission-critical objectivesEnsure adherence to federal cybersecurity standards (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, CMMC), compliance, and governance frameworksMentor, coach, and provide guidance to project managers, technical leads, and cross-functional teamsManage program budgets, resource allocation, risk management, and vendor relationshipsProvide executive-level communications, reporting, and presentations to senior government leadership and internal executivesSkillsMust have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field8 years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years of project management experienceDemonstrated expertise in managing complex programs within federal health or related government agenciesDemonstrated ability to identify growth opportunities and contribute to business development effortsGrowth mindset with a passion for continuous learning, adaptability, and innovationProven track record managing programs in compliance with federal security and regulatory frameworks (FedRAMP, NIST, HIPAA)Experience directly engaging with and advising senior government stakeholdersAbility to obtain at least a public trust security clearancePMP Certification or similar program/project management credentialsFamiliarity with Healthcare IT standards and interoperability frameworks such as FHIR, HL7, or ONC mandatesPrior experience successfully leading multi-vendor, multi-team collaborations in federally secured environmentsCompany OverviewRockITdata is an IT firm that offers AWS consultation, data integration, cloud computing and staffing services.
