[Remote] Senior Epic Care Ambulatory Certified Clinical Analyst

They are seeking a Senior Epic Care Ambulatory Certified Clinical Analyst to assess workflow processes, design and configure Epic system modules, and develop documentation to support clinical workflows.ResponsibilitiesAssesses workflow processes, identifies gaps, defines necessary process changes, and develops future workflows related to new solutions or functionalityDesigns, builds, and configures within assigned Epic system modules and supporting third-party applications, developing and maintaining system process documentationDemonstrates advanced functional knowledge of Epic, applicable third-party solutions, and the Microsoft suite of productsServes as a lead member of the team dedicated to developing electronic documentation solutions that support clinical workflow and practiceDevelops and maintains collaborative relationships with all stakeholders, capturing business and technical requirementsDevelops test scripts and materials for end-to-end workflow testing, performs unit, system, and integration testing, and documents outcomesRemains current on industry trends and vendor/application/system updates, ensuring software modifications/upgrades function according to Epic specificationsFollows departmental standards for software configuration control, quality assurance, and version releases, providing documentation and training on system upgrades and new releasesTroubleshoots issues or system deficiencies, initiates escalation procedures, and provides recommendations for resolutionParticipates in multiple cross-functional projects, utilizing project planning and coordination methodologies, tools, and lean methodologiesProvides guidance and acts as a resource for other analysts, project managers, and consultantsActively participates in project, team, departmental, and other meetings, reporting status updates, accomplishments, tasks, and barriers to the managerOther duties as assignedSkillsAdvanced of Microsoft suite of productsDemonstrated creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skillsMust have strong written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of clinical/technical workflowWork with minimal guidanceRapid learnerAssociate in a field of study such as business, is, or a healthcare relatedExtensive experience communicating complex technical concepts to a non-technical audienceYearly participation in ongoing education either formal or through conferences, active professional organization participation, or journal presentationsEpic Care Ambulatory CertificationAssociate college degree (as, diploma, b.a., b.s.)5+ years of clinical or technical backgroundEMR application/implementation experienceBenefitsBenefits from Day One: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, Disability InsurancePaid Time Off from Day One403-B Retirement Plan4 Weeks 100% Paid Parental LeaveCareer DevelopmentWhole Person Well-being ResourcesMental Health Resources and SupportPet BenefitsCompany OverviewAt AdventHealth, Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ is our mission.
