[Remote] Senior Engineer - Nuclear Deterministic Safety Analysis

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Deterministic Safety Analysis Engineer to contribute to the team responsible for BWRX-300 deterministic safety analyses. The role involves performing thermal-hydraulic and plant transient analyses, preparing technical reports, and collaborating with various teams to ensure high-quality deliverables in accordance with regulatory standards.ResponsibilitiesLead a variety of projects including technical evaluations and analyses in the area of Anticipated Operational Occurrences, Anticipated Transients without Scram, Reactor Heat Balance, and Thermal Hydraulic Fuel Channel AnalysesPerform plant thermal hydraulic evaluations and analyses in the areas of Containment, HELB, Fire Safe Shutdown, Annulus Pressurization Loads, and RIPD analysesPerform plant thermal hydraulic evaluations and analyses in the areas of BWR stabilityDeliver products at a consistently high and sustainable level in accordance with customer requirements, business procedures, and regulatory agency guidelinesUtilize unique opportunities to create and/or improve cutting-edge automation and methodsPrepare thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, and calculationsPerform technical verification of engineering technical deliverablesPrepare, communicate, and present complex technical issues to internal and external customers and recommend solutionsPerform in cross-disciplinary settings, engaged with interfacing teams responsible for mechanical design, core design, licensing, systems design, or other affiliated organizations to find optimum customer solutionsEnsure work is performed with high quality in accordance with regulatory rules and regulations, customer requirements, and business quality assurance standardsSkillsB.S.
