They are seeking a Senior Employee Benefits Consultant to manage broker partners, ensuring profitable growth and meeting sales objectives in the mid-Atlantic territory.ResponsibilitiesRecruiting new producers, training, achievement of premium growth objectives, and the servicing and conservation of insurance in forceMake qualified calls on groups with producers and provide enrollment support on a new producers first couple of accounts openedThe Sales Representative provides training and on-going development of producers in assigned areas in the regionResponsible for maintaining a positive working relationship with Sales Support, Underwriting, Policyholder Services, Billing Support, Compliance, Commission Accounting, and Home Office personnelMeet or exceed assigned production planRecruit, train, motivate and develop producers throughout assigned area in the regionContribute to effective relationships between the producers and Home Office departmentsHelp analyze markets and formulate recruiting programs, secure producers who will effectively produce quality premiumsWork with producers to help bring value to their existing book of business and develop new opportunitiesProvide feedback on changes in the marketplaceHelp implement and support the corporate strategy including cross-selling partner productsSkillsPrior experience in voluntary and/or employee benefits requiredMust possess an established broker network within the defined territoryThe ability to travel as needed throughout the defined territory is requiredLICENSING: Life & Health licenses required.
