Our client, a pioneering organization dedicated to innovative early childhood development and inclusive education, is seeking an experienced Senior Early Childhood Educator specializing in Special Needs to join their fully remote team. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in child development and special education to impact learning outcomes for young children across various locations, all from the convenience of your home office. You will be instrumental in developing curriculum frameworks, guiding educators, and creating specialized learning resources for children with diverse developmental and learning needs. The ideal candidate possesses a robust understanding of early childhood pedagogy, specialized training in special education, and a proven ability to lead and innovate in an online educational environment.

Responsibilities: Design, develop, and refine curriculum modules and learning resources specifically for early learners with special needs, focusing on adaptability and accessibility. Provide expert guidance and mentorship to remote early childhood educators, supporting them in implementing effective teaching strategies for children with diverse developmental profiles. Develop training materials and conduct virtual workshops on topics related to special education, inclusive practices, and individualized learning plans for young children. Analyze learning data and feedback to continuously improve educational content and pedagogical approaches. Collaborate with a team of child development specialists, therapists, and curriculum designers to ensure a holistic approach to early childhood education. Research and integrate the latest evidence-based practices in early childhood special education into the organization's programs. Develop guidelines and best practices for virtual assessment and progress monitoring of children with special needs. Create resources and support materials for parents and caregivers to facilitate learning at home. Troubleshoot and provide solutions for educators facing challenges in supporting children with specific learning or behavioral needs in remote settings. Contribute to the strategic development of the organization's special education offerings. Ensure all developed content and strategies comply with relevant educational standards and research. Lead virtual community forums or support groups for educators and parents focusing on special needs topics. Maintain a deep understanding of diverse special needs conditions and their impact on early childhood learning. Present findings and recommendations to leadership teams and external stakeholders. Qualifications: Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in early childhood education, with a significant focus (5+ years) on special needs education. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development for young children with various disabilities (e.g., Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, developmental delays, learning disabilities). Proven experience in training and mentoring other educators. Strong understanding of child development theory and best practices in early intervention. Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly. Proficiency in using online learning platforms, educational technologies, and digital collaboration tools. Experience in developing remote learning strategies and resources. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote setting. Certification in Early Childhood Special Education is highly desirable. Familiarity with diagnostic assessments and intervention strategies is required.
