[Remote] Senior Dynamics 365 Procurement Functional Consultant

They are seeking a Senior Dynamics 365 Procurement Functional Consultant to lead the Procurement workstream for a client's ERP implementation, requiring deep procurement functional knowledge and strong business process acumen. Responsibilities • Serve as Aberdeen's senior Procurement expert advising the client on procurement strategy and process design • Assess current procurement configuration and identify gaps and improvement opportunities • Lead configuration of D365 Procurement and Sourcing modules: purchase requisitions, POs, vendor management, purchase agreements, RFQs, procurement policies • Design procure-to-pay process flows including requisition approval, PO creation, receiving, and three-way matching • Configure vendor master data structure and vendor approval workflows • Lead data migration for vendor master data, open POs, and purchase agreements • Develop comprehensive test scenarios and deliver training to purchasing staff • Support go-live cutover and hypercare for procurement processes Skills • 6+ years implementing Dynamics 365 Procurement and Sourcing (or AX 2012 Procurement) • Minimum 3 full lifecycle D365 implementations as Procurement lead or senior consultant • Expert-level configuration of purchase requisitions, POs, purchase agreements, and vendor management • Deep understanding of procurement approval workflows and policy configuration • Experience designing procure-to-pay processes from requisition through payment • Data migration leadership for vendor data and open procurement transactions • Senior consultant presence with ability to lead sessions with Director of Procurement or VP Operations • Manufacturing or distribution industry experience • Multi-entity procurement with centralized/decentralized purchasing models • Vendor collaboration portal configuration • EDI integration experience (850 PO, 855 PO Ack, 810 Invoice) • Budget control and encumbrance accounting • D365 certifications (MB-330) • Experience joining implementations mid-stream Company Overview • Headquartered in Chicago, with satellite offices in Hyderabad (India), Aberdeen Advisors is a boutique digital consultancy providing innovative products and services.
