The Senior Director of Business Development will oversee a business development team, driving referral growth and optimizing sales processes across multiple territories while collaborating with senior leadership to implement strategic initiatives.ResponsibilitiesMulti-Territory Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Regional Directors (RDBDs) to ensure consistent execution of referral growth goals across diverse marketsStrategic Implementation: Partner with the VP of Sales to develop and implement creative sales strategies that align with Ivys rapid growth and multi-site expansionHigh-Level Coaching: Conduct strategic market visits and occasional ride-alongs with RDBDs and Business Development Managers (BDMs) to provide executive-level coaching and identify regional growth opportunitiesData-Driven Accountability: Utilize a data-driven approach to hold regional teams accountable for KPI achievement and strategic implementationCross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Operations, Real Estate, Business Development, Compliance and senior leadership to align business development efforts with broader company profitability and care goalsReferral Network Expansion: Lead strategies to expand the referring physician base and increase share within existing strategic partnership and key accountsSales Operations Optimization: Help define and refine the “sales motion” between sales teammates, operations leaders, and clinicians to ensure role clarity and efficiencyPerformance Reporting: Provide regular, high-level updates to the leadership team, sharing insights on regional trends, competitor activity, and market dynamicsM&A Partnership: Partner with M&A team to evaluate potential acquisitions and ensure a streamlined and thorough diligence process and supportive integration structure for sales strategiesSkillsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or related field required8+ years of relevant professional sales leadership experience, with a proven track record in multi-site healthcare services settingDemonstrated ability to lead leaders; experience managing a team of Managers or Directors highly preferredGoal driven people leader with a successful track record of collaborating across functions within all levels of an organizationAn analytical thinker capable of preparing and implementing complex action plans at both the detail and 'big-picture' levelsA relationship builder with a collaborative style and history of influencing through inspiration and compelling logicAdvanced proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce), Business Intelligence (PowerBI/Tableau), and Microsoft Office Suite to monitor and report on team successWillingness to travel regularly across assigned regions as neededBenefitsEligibility for full benefits package beginning within your first month of employment.Generous PTO (Paid Time Off) plans and paid holidays.Company OverviewIvy is a rapidly growing network of best-in-class outpatient physical, occupational, speech and ABA therapy clinics throughout the United States.
