[Remote] Senior Director Finance, GTM

The Senior Director of Finance, GTM will own financial strategy and performance management for the GTM business, serving as a financial thought partner across Marketing, Product, and Sales, and focusing on GTM modeling, user acquisition, and profitability.ResponsibilitiesOwn financial planning and forecasting for the GTM businessDrive our efforts to better serve new customer segments, launch new insurance products, and/or partnership offeringsApply business judgment and financial insights to drive decision making related to unit economics, customer acquisition, operations, core business expansion, and new opportunitiesImprove the speed and efficiency of our growth by collaborating closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teamsApply a data-driven analytical approach to influence decision making and support company leadership in evaluating strategic initiativesDevelop and monitor critical financial performance metrics, and communicate actionable insights to relevant stakeholdersSkills10+ years of relevant experience, including:4+ years in investment banking, private equity, growth equity, strategic finance, or consulting (with material CDD / Private Equity experience)6–8+ years in Strategic Finance, FP&A, or BizOps (with a material data / financial focus) roles at a GTM or consumer-facing companyDeep expertise in GTM unit economics and growth efficiency metrics, including a strong understanding of acquisition funnels, cohort analysis, and CLVAbility to operate at both strategic and highly detailed levelsExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional partnersMotivated self-starter with a track record of success and a proven ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks while hitting deadlines; desire to own and drive projects from Day 1Stellar academic record with a degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Finance, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, etc.)SQL knowledge preferredPrior experience with Corp Dev / Biz Dev preferredBenefitsBonusEquityBenefitsCompany OverviewEthos makes getting life insurance instant and easy.
