IronGate Cybersecurity LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Digital Forensics Consultant to join their Professional Services Team. This role involves leading digital forensic investigations, mentoring junior analysts, and developing strategies to respond to cyber incidents.ResponsibilitiesLead and conduct complex digital forensic investigations and analyses, including but not limited to ransomware, Business Email Compromise (BEC), unwanted intrusion, third party breaches, and advanced malware analysisUtilize and oversee the use of forensic tools and software (Axiom, EnCase, X-Ways, and open source tools)Develop and implement digital forensic strategies and best practices across the teamIdentify processes that can be automated to improve the team’s efficiencyPrepare and review detailed reports and documentation of findings for both technical and non-technical audiencesMentor and train junior analysts in digital forensic techniques and practicesCommunicate complex technical findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders, breach counsel, clients, and executive managementSkillsOver 3 years of professional experience in digital forensics, incident response, or cybersecurity, with a proven track record of leading complex investigationsAdvanced knowledge of cyber threat landscapes, digital forensic principles, and legal considerationsExpertise in using a wide range of forensic tools and software, with specific experience in CrowdStrike FalconExceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsStrong leadership abilities and excellent written and verbal communication skillsCertifications in digital forensics or cybersecurity (e.g., EnCE, GCFE, GCFA, CCFP, CEH, CISSP)Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related fieldExtensive experience in digital forensics or incident response and managementPrior experience mentoring or leading a teamCompany OverviewIronGate is a premier provider of scalable cybersecurity products and services helping organizations secure their digital futures by proactively addressing emerging digital threats.
